How is this different from a wedding planner?
A planner runs your wedding day and charges €5,000–€20,000 to do it. We find and verify your venue, and stop. That is roughly a fifth of the price, it is the part you genuinely cannot do from abroad, and it leaves you free to hire a coordinator later — or not.
Do you take commission from the venues?
No, and we structured the business specifically so we can't. Venues pay a fixed monthly marketing fee or nothing. No venue can buy a place on your shortlist. It is the reason our recommendations mean anything.
What does a wedding in Italy actually cost?
For 80 guests in the Veneto, most couples land between €45,000 and €90,000 all in. Venue hire is typically €8,000–€28,000 of that. Our budget calculator breaks it down line by line, and the numbers come from real quotes rather than from a blog.
Can we legally marry in Italy as foreigners?
Yes. You'll need a Nulla Osta from your consulate, a sworn translation, and an appointment at the comune. It takes 6–10 weeks and is very manageable — but many couples choose to complete the legal part at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Italy, which removes the paperwork entirely.
How far in advance should we book?
Twelve to eighteen months for a Saturday in May, June or September. Six months is workable for a weekday or for winter. Under three months we'll be honest with you about what's left.
Do you work outside the Veneto?
Lake Garda and Verona, yes — within ninety minutes and visited regularly. Tuscany we cover through a partner planner and we say so openly. Amalfi, Sicily and Lake Como we don't do, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend.
What if we don't like any of the venues?
If your shortlist doesn't contain at least four venues available on your date and inside your budget, you get a full refund. If they're all available and in budget and you simply don't like them, tell us — we'll do one more round at no charge.
Do you speak Portuguese and Spanish?
Yes, properly — calls, documents and venue introductions. Brazilian and Spanish-speaking couples are a large part of what we do and are almost entirely unserved in their own language elsewhere in this corridor.
When can we talk? We're eight hours behind.
That's the point. We call Monday to Thursday between 19:00 and 22:30 Italian time, which is 13:00–16:30 in New York, 10:00–13:30 in California and 14:00–17:30 in São Paulo. You never have to take a call at dawn.
Can you get us a discount at the venue?
Sometimes, and we'll tell you exactly what to ask for and what to refuse — weekday rates, shoulder-season rates, what's genuinely negotiable in an Italian venue contract. But you sign directly with the venue and the price you agree is yours.
