Venue matchmaking, and nothing else
A small studio based in Treviso, in the Veneto. We find and verify wedding venues for couples marrying in northern Italy from abroad — and we deliberately do nothing else.
What we actually do
Four things. Each one is something you genuinely cannot do well from six thousand kilometres away.
Verification
We confirm availability on your date with the venue directly, in Italian, and check what contracts hide: minimum spend, corkage, curfew, rain plan, and whether a civil ceremony is even licensed there.
Budget modelling
A realistic all-in figure in your own currency, built from what venues in that region are quoting this year — not from a national average written by someone who has never been.
Introductions
A direct introduction to the person who runs each venue, in your language and theirs. From there you contract with them yourself. We never sit between you and your money.
The database is the business
Anyone can list venues. What takes years to build is a structured record of what each one is actually like, and that is what we have been assembling since the first day — venue by venue, in person, with a notebook.
Every venue we put in front of you has been visited. For each one we record more than forty fields, and the most valuable is the last: what is genuinely wrong with this place. It is the field no directory will ever publish, and it is the reason couples pay us rather than searching themselves.
Some of what we record
- Seated capacity indoors and out — and the real rain-plan number, which is usually smaller
- Music curfew and decibel limit, as enforced by that specific comune
- Catering policy — in-house, approved list or free choice — and what corkage costs
- Minimum spend, weekday versus Saturday rates, and where the seasonal bands fall
- Whether a civil ceremony is licensed on site, and which comune handles the paperwork
- Distance from the car park, and what that distance means in heels on gravel
- Rooms on site, deposit terms, and how far ahead a date has to be blocked
- What went wrong at the last foreign wedding held there
We work with wedding planners, not against them
A planner runs your day. We find your venue. Those are different jobs, and the couples who end up happiest often buy both — in that order.
We know the planners working in this corridor, we know which of them is good at which kind of wedding, and we will tell you honestly whether you need one at all. When you do hire one, we hand over a complete brief: the venue file, the budget model, the contacts and the open questions, so you are not paying anyone to redo work you have already bought. Planners send couples to us as well — usually the ones whose venue search has stalled and who need somebody local to unstick it.
Why we don't run wedding days
Because the two jobs are opposites. Coordinating a wedding means being unavailable every Saturday for eighteen months and charging accordingly. Finding the right venue is research, relationships and honesty — it can be done properly for a fifth of the price, and it is the part couples genuinely cannot do from abroad. So we do that part, extremely well, and hand you to a coordinator if you want one.
Three rules we don't break
No commission, ever
Venues pay a fixed monthly fee for marketing work, or they pay nothing. Nobody buys a place on your shortlist.
Prices on the website
If you have to ask what it costs, someone is deciding what you can afford. Ours are published.
The flaws go in writing
Every venue we send you comes with the reason you might not want it. It is the whole product.
